WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new customers. Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales. Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking.
• Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods.
• Develop and maintain functional knowledge of the services and operations offered by the company. Interact regularly with our operational team to ensure the customer’s needs are met.
• Maintain a pre-determined number of target accounts and demonstrate active attention to those accounts and progress toward closing. Meet or exceed sales threshold/quota as defined by the company.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum three years related experience in sales required
• Business to Business (B2B) Sales experience with demonstrated history of sales achievements in a base plus commission environment with experience closing sales at the executive level.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint), internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
• Ability to generate error-free charts, graphs, spreadsheets and presentations

Characteristics:

• Self-motivated. Able to achieve results by working independently with little or no supervision.
• Sense of urgency and follow-up.
• Strongly developed persuasive skills, proven negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think and respond quickly to sales and service issues.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Manage and coordinate the end-to-end shipment process, ensuring smooth logistics operations from booking to final delivery

 WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

- Receive customer bookings and coordinate shipments from the origin to the final delivery, ensuring clear communication with overseas partners to arrange and track shipments.

- Offer accurate quotations to customers and regularly update them on the status of their shipments.

- Gather required customer information for customs submissions, ensuring compliance with regulations and avoiding delays in delivery.

- Work with shipping lines, airlines, and other operators to arrange delivery, payments, and resolve any issues promptly.

- Assist management and account teams by sharing expertise, supporting business development, and maintaining smooth internal operations.

 WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

- Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrates strong verbal communication abilities and the capacity to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

- Advanced Computer Proficiency: Possesses comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly adapt to new software platforms.

- Strong Analytical Competence: Exhibits proficiency in data analysis and numerical reasoning.

- Detail-Oriented and Organized: Highly organized, with a strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks and a customer service-driven mindset.

- Ability to Work Under Pressure: Capable of handling a high volume of detailed tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a self-motivated attitude and minimal need for supervision. Knowledge of the import/export industry is an advantage.
